outlook 2003 retrieve lost emails/ contacts

HELP, my computor crashed and I had to backup and restore but it was
horrible. I had to reinstall my 2003 stuff. I lost all my emails and outlook
data and I do not know how to start to find and retreive. Please help me!!
Please be in detail, as I am not a computor wiz.

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
