Outlook 2003 rules are messing up my calendar

I am filtering my emails and placing them in personal folders.
However, this includes calendar requests. I discovered that if someone
sends a calendar request and they have a rule for their email, then
the calendar request gets placed into the "Calendar in Personal
Folders." This is a problem since other people need to see my calendar
& if I'm free. They don't see the "Calendar in Personal Folders."

I tried to move over calendar requests by dragging and dropping the
meeting request from the "Calendar in Personal Folders" to the
standard Outlook Calendar, but this doesn't work for reoccuring
meetings. One suggestion from a coworker was to drag the incoming
calendar request to my inbox & then accepting the meeting. However,
this crashed Outlook.

Does anyone know of a a solution for this dilema?

In the rule, you should be able to choose "except if it is a meeting
invitation or update" towards the end of the rule creation wizard.
