Outlook 2003 Rules

Jason

I have some rules to move a copy of a message from my inbox to a public
folder. Problem is that it moves 2 copies to the public folder.
I've deleted, recreated.... run /cleanrules and started again, still the
same problem

The rule does have a "Hammer & Spanner" symbol if that means anything to
anyone

Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6360) SP1

Thanks

Do you have the "stop processing more rules" action on the rule?

That just means the rule has an action.

Hi

Yep, can confirm i have the "stop Processing" option active.
To double check i even got rid of all other rules and just had this one,
same thing, 2 copies in the public folder everytime.

I have created a few more rules for outher messages to move a copy to the
Public Folder, they too put 2 copies in.

Exact rule strucutre is as follows:
Apply This Rule after the message arrives
sent to <dist list name>
Move a copy to the <public folder name>
and stop processing more rules

Thanks for your help
