Outlook 2003 running on Vista

John Pierce

I used easy transfer cable to transfer my Outlook 2000 settings to my new
computer running Vista. I installed Office 2003 Professional on the Vista
machine and set up Outlook. Everything moved over however everytime I open
Outlook and do anything, it brings a configuration message that it is
configuring Office 2003 professional. I updated Outlook and used the disk to
run a repair but it still does it. Any suggestions???

Uninstall Office 2003 and any remaining components of Office/Outlook 2000 as
well. Then reinstall Office 2003 again with all its updates.
Then recreate you mail profile as per;

After that, start Outlook; you shouldn't be getting any installer messages
now anymore.
