I am migrating to a new computer that came with Office 2003 on it and
therefore am also upgrading. I am in the Office 60 day trial period and plan
on purchasing license in new year. Everything OK (so far), except the
following.
When reply / forward / edit a prior message and then "Send" (either using
the button or Alt-S) the message is saved in the Outbox (regular font rather
than italics; open envelope icon). I've looked everywhere and tried
everything I can think of, but no luck.
When I create new messages I seem to get one chance, and once chance only,
to send them. The brand new message will be put in Outbox to send (italics,
etc) and will successfully send at the proper time. But if I open the
message before it's sent to edit it and then send it, it only gets saved, as
above.
Accounts, connections, files, everything else seems OK.
The system is P4 running XP Home SP2. Office 2003 OEM SP1. Norton Internet
Security installed. Backup add-in installed. The files are in Outlook 97-02
format. ISP is SBC. No server involved. I am a relatively experienced user
but no pro.
VERY FRUSTRATING.
Thanks for any help.
