Using Outlook 2003 SP2. Outlook always freezes shortly after the first
time it starts after a reboot or suspend/resume cycle, but if the task
is killed and started it again, it always works fine. I believe this
is actually a Google Desktop problem.
There's some evidence that the crash is related to the immediate "send/
receive" that occurs during startup (this is based on one suggestion
from Google.) So I am trying to disable send/receive on startup. Under
send/receive settings, I have "disable scheduled send/receive"
checked. I also have "send immediately when connected" unchecked, and
"schedule an automatic send/receive every...minutes" unchecked. Yet
the first thing Outlook does on startup is a send/receive.
Any suggestions? Is it possible to disable send/receive on startup,
other than starting in offline mode?
I am using cached exchange mode.
