Outlook 2003-'Select Names' dialogue box.

When preparing an email clicking the 'To' address opens
the 'Select Names' dialogue box with names
listed...First, Last...making it difficult to locate an
addressee. Desired listing sequence is Last, First. All
program changes that could be found have been made, but
none have impact upon 'Select Names'. Anyone know how the
change can be made? Thanks.

You missed one then:
Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
