Hello,
I have Outlook 2003 with XP Pro SP2 on a 2GHz dual pentium processor and 2GB
of RAM. Whenever outlook does a send and receive, my entire machine is
consumed by this process and I'm not able to switch applications or do
anything else. I have a lot of POP mail accounts being checked (5) and my
..pst file is large (1.5GB). I'd think that with the dual processor that at
the very least one could handle background processes like send/recv while
the other is processing my desktop inputs. Any recommendations greatly
appreciated!
Thanks,
Chad
