Hi,
What I am looking to achieve is a shared task setup so tasks can be viewed
from a central location and assigned as necessary..
I have created a new user account called Shared Tasks and given the relevant
users full mailbox access. These users have then gone into their Outlook 2003
client and added the Shared Tasks Tasks folder so it is visible.
So far all is good.
I now have a situation where if we go into our Outlook and go to the Shared
Tasks and assign the task.. an email gets sent to the right user who accepts
it, and a copy gets put into their local tasks, but any updates they make to
this are not reflected back in the Shared Tasks section...
Also if I just create a task in the Shared Tasks section, without assigning
it to anyone it is editable and has an owner of shared tasks (The user
account)...
However we now have some tasks which we can delete or close but cannot edit
any text boxes... even though I am listed as the task owner?!!
Very confusing!
