Outlook 2000 has a setting that allows you break apart messages larger than a
certain size and send as several emails. I was very disappointed to find out
that 2003 doesn't have this feature. I found out that it is now recommended
to send zip files. Well, our company does not allow sending or receiving of
zip files for virus threats. Also, zipping a file does not always reduce the
file size all that much.
So, effectively you have taken a fairly simple process and made it much more
difficult by eliminating that feature. Very frustrating.
