Outlook 2003 shuts down on its own

Outlook 2003 shuts down periodically and gives and internal error message. I
don't know if it's a corrupted file, some automatic update recently
installed, or something else. I have tried detect and repair and it says it's
fine. But the app still closes after a while without my doing anything. If
anyone has any ideas they would be greatly apprecaited. Many thanks --

Do you have Office/Outlook SP2 installed?
Have you checked your event logs for errors?
