Outlook 2003 shuts down

Tim

Just recently, my Outlook 2003 started behaving strangely.

As soon as I launch the program, it immediately shuts itself down.
When I relaunch it, it indicates that it was shutdown improperly and scans
the inbox.

I ran scanpst which found/fixed some errors.

It still has this problem though - every other time I run it.

(If it makes any difference, I'm only using POP3 accounts, and I only
send/receive manualy)

Are there any command line options I can run to perhaps capture some debug
information?

Any other advice?

thanks,
Tim

Have you tried creating a fresh profile here: Control Panel > Mail applet?

Sometimes a profile gets damaged and it causes all sorts of havok

There are various safe switches you can use to see if one file or another is
the problem.

I'd probably rename the outcmd.dat file or *.srs -those are often causes of
load problems
