After changing the computer name on my PC opening emails in Outlook is slow,
taking from 5 seconds to over 30 seconds. When I change the computer name
back to the original name the emails open up in under a second. I am running
in cache mode, with Windows 2003 servers and Exchange 2003. I have turned off
the cache and the problem remains, I have disconnected the network cable with
cache enabled and the problem remains. I also have Microsoft CRM 3.0
installed with offline capability.
