Outlook 2003 slow start up

When launching Outlook (or as soon as a profile is selected), the app
"hangs" and the splash screen displayed for longer than normal. Once up and
running, the app behaves normally and CPU usage is normal during this time.

I've tried the various troubleshooting steps,but they haven't solved the
problem.


- created a new profile
- ran outlook on same PC with different user
- ran scanpst.exe on all .pst files
- ran in Outlook /safe mode
- deleted the toolbar command file
- Messenger integration is disabled
- Ensured all add-ins are disabled

ANy other suggestions?
