Outlook 2003 is so slow syncing with IMAP servers (our company uses Sun One
Messenger Express) and Outlook will not respond to any user input (keyboard,
mouse) while Send/Receive message header retrival takes place.
I suggest that Outlook 2003 ought to be periodically calling PeekMessage or
doing something to allow user input (e.g. composing other emails) to continue
concurrently while an IMAP Send/Receive sync is taking place. It pretty much
locks up at about 33% complete and again at 75-80% complete.
