Outlook 2003 - slow when adding WORD Document

Long delay when to add WORD document to file. Also when I highlight an
e-mail address in an OUTLOOG message - to copy it- also a long delay....Not
sure what is causing this.

Is that all you can share about this?
I would start with disabling virus scanner integration.

I use ESET Smart security - no the problem (as disabling does not
help)....have tried DETECT and REPAIR and much else...
