Outlook 2003 SP2 and FAT32 - 4GB limit?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could confirm to me that there is a Outlook 2003 .pst
file size limit of 4GB when using the FAT32 filing system.

I have a user with Windows 2000 and FAT32. The size of her archive.pst is
3.99GB. When she attempts to add to her archive, Outlook 2003 complains that
the archive.pst file cannot be accessed. I think FAT32 is the source of the
problem rather than Outlook 2003. Is this correct?

Absolutely correct. This is a limitation of the FAT32 file system and can't
be changed.

But it's very easy to convert a FAT32 partition to NTFS; see

P.S. it's a good idea to defragment the partition first.
