Hi, I had some problems with add-ins in Outlook 2003, SP2 and the software
ended up crashing and restarting in safe mode. Looking through help, it said
that some features become disabled in safemode, including the suggestion of
names while writing e-mail to, cc etc lists, and while in safe mode, this was
the case for suggesting names. I have removed the add ins (actually
uninstalling the offending SW which seemed to cause the crash), and now
nothing is disabled when I start the software, but the suggest names option
in Tools/options/preferences/e-mail options/advanced email options, is now
turned off and the segment of the menu is greyed out so i cannot switch it
back on again. Can any help me get the option turned back on (I'm assuming
here I'm not still in safe mode having removed the add-ins so a suggestion of
how to check this may be a start )?
