Outlook 2003 SP2 locks up when I click on any link in an email

My Outlook 2003 SP2 locks up when I click on any link in an email. It opens
an IE window and (slowly) puts me to the UPL, but then Outlook is locked and
I have to close it thru the task manager and restart it. I an current on
Office updates and also on XP SP2 updates. Any ideas?
