Recently bought Vista.
Had outlook 2002 which worked fine to open Word docs, but this has a
compatibility issue with Vista regarding setting up and fucntioning of e-mail
accounts.
Upgrade to Offcie 2003 and downloaded updates for it (SP3).
Problem is that I can not set the .doc extension association with Word. Not
by setting it in standard programmes. I can select Word but it simply ignores
it.
Only way at the monment is to save document and then via word open it.
Does anyone has the solution to this problem?
