OutLook 2003 Spelling Checker does not work

When I compose a new message in OutLook 2003, and run Spelling Checker on the
new message, it does not check the spelling.
I have tried all options in OutLook 2003 regarding the Spelling Checker (In
Tools > Options) but to no result.
When I compose a new message in Word 2003 and then run spelling checker it
runs OK.
