Outlook 2003 stationery question

I would like to know if it's possible to permanently delete most of the
stationery that comes standard with Outlook? I have tried in the past but
it won't remove them from the list and the files come right back.

I'm also looking for web sites that have free stationery with no strings
attached (as in I don't want to d/l the stationery only to find that it's
installing other programs without giving me a choice). Also I prefer
stationery with NO music. I've already tried Cloudeight as I am a
subscriber but most of the quicknotes don't interest me.

The stationary on your system was installed with your office install. In
order to "delete" the stationary, go to the "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Themes" folder and remove the themes that you don't
want. However, in order to get them back, you would have to reinstall them
from the installation disc, so I would recommend just moving them to a
different folder.

Hi. I just looked and the only folder I have that's close to that is
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Themes11. Under that folder
there are a bunch of other folders such as: Arctic, Breeze, Compass,
Deepblue, etc. I look at all and nothing pertains to stationery. There is
a Common Files Stationery folder but that's not where Outlook installed the
stationery (I have stationery from OE there in sub folders, which sucks
cause you can't use them in Outlook if they aren't in that main folder or
the other folder). The folder Oulook installed it's default stationery in
is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Stationery\1033. I have tried to
delete them from there and they remain in the list in Outlook and then
re-appear again in the folder.

I had this happen with XP Pro's screen savers. I had deleted them and they
kept re-appearing. They needed to be also deleted from the dllcache folder
(at least I think that's what it was called). Then they stayed gone. I see
there is an MSOCACHE folder and wonder if this is the same case. If it is
what cab file is the one that would need removing?

Hi Peter, so the themes in that folder are for the stationery. It doesn't
make sense as there are 32 themes and only 10 staioneries installed by
Outlook and none of the names of themes match up to the stationery.

Do these themes serve any other purpose in office?
