outlook 2003 stationery quirk

E

Eric Swope

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone else who is running outlook 2003 has
the same quirks with stationery that I do.

The first quirk I noticed is that for my available stationery, the remove
(which I don't want to use anyway) and edit buttons are grayed out. The
only button that I am able to click is new. I would like to use the edit
button.

Second, if I click "get more stationery" it takes me to the office website
with some stationery downloads, but they are for outlook 2002 and 2000 only.
I downloaded one anyway and it said I needed office 2000 installed when I
tried to open it. Is there a work around for this, or does anyone have a
site they use to download stationery for outlook 2003?

Thanks for any help and information.

1) Open the stationery in Outlook, edit it and save as stationery under a
new name. Or try to locate it on the hard drive and edit it directly.

2) They'll work. If the file you download s an exe, use Winzip to extract
the files and place them in the stationery folder.
