Outlook 2003 status missing

After installing Outlook 2003 (Running RPC over HTTP) to our exchange 2003
server, the status is missing. The bar is on, the two vertical grey lines
are there on the right, but it doesnt show the status anymore. Everything
else works perfectly, I just cant see the actual status. Anyone got any
ideas?
