Outlook 2003 stops sending/receiving automatically - requires re-b

I'm having a unique problem with Outlook 2003 running Windows XP Home
edition. I have it set to automatically send and receive e-mail every hour.
Outlook will work for hours or days, running automatically just fine. Then,
for some unknown reason, it will stop sending and receiving completely,
including trying to do a send/receive manually.

I've tried shutting down Outlook 2003 and running it again... doesn't solve
the problem. The only thing that solves the problem is re-booting the
computer.

I've tried creating a new personality and pst file, but the same thing
happens.

Has anyone seen or experienced somthing like this... any suggestions of what
I can do to solve this problem and have it work properly? Thanks for any
help!
