Greetings! I've used Outlook 2003. It has the odd behavior of
remaining in memory even after I click on the "x" at the top
right corner. I click on that "x" which appears to close
Outlook 2003 (e.g., it leaves the screen altogether and there
are no icons or buttons to indicate that it is still running).
Yet when I try to reopen the program, it opens up on the
screen but does not ask for my password as I have it
configured to do each time it is opened. Further, after I
thought that I'd closed Outlook 2003, I have checked a couple
of times to see what programs were running on my system and
found several (4 at one check) instances of Outlook.exe
running on the computer. I like the program; but I'd like it
to reliably close and leave the system memory when I click on
that magical "x". Am I doing or configuring something wrong?
If so, what and how do I fix it? If not me then what is at
fault and how do I fix it? Thanks much!
