outlook 2003 suddenly stopped working

I have been using Outlook 2003 for a long while -- I cannot send or receive
messages suddenly and my network provider prolog ptd.net says they don't
support outlook any help appreciated.

I have a similar problem. After several months of smooth operation, now
Outlook 2003 can receive email but not send it. I get an error message that
"the connection to the server was interrupted". (Error #0x800CCCOF) My
network provider couldn't find anything wrong with my connection and also
said they don't suppor Outlook 2003.
