Outlook 2003 Sync problems

I am having problems using the exchange cached mode in outlook 2003. i am
running a windows 2000 server with SP4 and Exchange 2000 with SP3. Most of
the client machines that i have outlook 2003 installed have no problems
synchronizing with the server. however with a couple of the machines i get
an error message. here is the error log:

i have read that knowledge base article and have tried all the remedies that
they have listed but it did not work. i still get the same sync error.
