outlook 2003 "there was a problem reading one or more reminders"

every time i start microsoft outlook 2003, i get this error message "there
was a problem reading one or more of your reminders. some reminders may not
appear. cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment"

Any help will be greatly appreciated

First thing to try is to start Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command
line switch as described here:
