Outlook 2003 thru MS VPN

I have a user laptop that will not connect to to our exchange server. I
connect to our net using VPN. I can ping the server by name and by IP
through the VPN. I have 10 other users connecting the same way with every
once in a while they say thier outlook does not connect and I usually fix it
by deleting the VPN and recreating it on their laptop.

Any ideas????

Just to update my situation. This problem only happens while connected to
broadband. I have the users laptop in front of me. While connected to a
Verizon air card or dialup the VPN works just fine. This user was not able
to connect while wired to broadband at home and while at a hotel. The user
has been connecting at home for months until the last few weeks it has been
hit or miss. Same thing with the hotel, I had him recreate the VPN and it
work for a while then quit again on the next connect.
