Thank you, but it looks that I found what the problem was, after going to
Tools, Options, Security and change from Restricted Sites to Internet,
everything looks normal now.
Thank you again for your interest.

Thank you!!!

I have been fighting with this slow down for over a month now, and
switching the zone to Internet fixed everything! Can't believe how
hard it was to find this solution.

Thanks again,
Shawn

I think it's a mistake to read your all messages in the Internet security
zone. Scripting is allowed in that zone. Instead, see if you have a large
number of sites in your Restricted zone and, if so, reduce the number of
sites there.

I have found couple forums with good solutions to this problem. See if
applying registry changes described there will help you. It fixed my Outlook.

I just wanted to add that I experienced this problem as a result of
using Spybot's Immunize feature. When you choose to Immunize, it
loads a whole heck of a lot of extensions and pages to disallow in
IE. Because of the large number of sites that Outlook tries to check
when you open an HTML email, it drastically slows down performance.

Easy fix to get around this is to just undo the Spybot features, or
you can remove them from IE.
