Outlook 2003 - Unable to open your default email folders.

Error message "unable to open your default email folders. create a new
profile by double clicking the mail icon in control panel, clicking show
profiles and then clicking add. after creating the new profile, make it your
default by selecting it then clicking always use this profile. "

only I cant do any of the above - after clicking ok the program crashes.

It works fine if I log in as another user, it is only this users profile
that is corrupted. I tried to repair the installation but that hasnt helped.
I was going to do a reinstall, but I need to back up this users email and
contacts first.

Even if the program crashes you can go to Windows Control Panel and get to
the profiles...
