Outlook 2003 Unacceptably SLOW

I recently upgraded to Office 2003 Pro & started useing Outlook 2003. When I
open Outlook 2003 & view my appointments ect all is fine, but as soon as I
save a new appointment or edit any other entry Outlook slows down to an
unacceptable speed or even freezes. The list below are things I have done to
try & rectify this problem:
Upated Windows XP, Updated Office 2003, Scaned with Panda, Disk Clean Up,
Disk Defragmenter, Detect & Repair. Outlook still running slow. Please HELP!

Have you tried a reboot of Windows?

How do I reboot windows & will I lose any files ect

Start-> Shut Down-> Restart

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

Done all that. Still the same, also I have unistalled & reinstalled office,
still takes between 1-3mins just to save & close an new appointment. I used
outlook 2000 for a couple of months prior to upgrade & it worked 100% with no
problems
