Outlook 2003 Upgrade

I was wondering if upgrading only outlook to outlook 2003 from office 2002 is
a supported configuration. what are the support implications for the rest of
the office suite if we went ahead with the outlook only upgrade.

You can do it, but you will lose the interaction between the
applications. Mainstream support of 2002 expired 7/11/2006.
