Outlook 2003 user not getting OL2002 calendar invites

I have a user that is not getting the Calendar invites from OL 2002
users nor is HIS 2003 invites getting received from the other users.
It's as if the calendar operation between the two versions has changed
to the point of uninteroperability. I looked in to the KB article
307313 (OL2000: Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002 iCalendar
Interoperability Problems) but don't know if this is the right version
for this issue.

Anyway, this peer to peer has OL clients in IM mode only and no
invites sent via email bounce back so not sure what's going on..

any insights appreciated.
