Outlook 2003 Virus? (Post #2 for Computer #2):

D

Dianne C

I will copy & paste the original message that I currently have running on
the board to get you up-to-speed:

A couple of days ago, I received a note from my ISP (Comcast) stating that
mass mailings were being sent from my account and that the capability of
sending email had been blocked by them.

I have utilized Windows Defender, AVG, and Ad-Aware (complete scan --- took
over 2 hours) to search for any issues; all have come up 'clean.' I can send
using Comcast's Webmail, but, Outlook still does not work. When I was on the
phone with Comcast's Tech Group, she had me change one of my ports to a
different number to see if that would help and it did not. So, aside from
running those programs I mentioned, and changing that port number (sorry, I
don't recall exactly where we were), nothing else has changed.

I tried the 'Detect & Repair' option in Outlook which was when I discovered
that I can't locate my original Outlook disk! I do have a disk from Dell that
is for 'Reinstalling Dell Tools System Software.' Its contents are supposed
to include: AV Software, Support Software, Multimedia Software, and Internet
Software. Not sure if MS Outlook may be in one of those?

Can anyone get me on the straight and narrow? I love Outlook and want it
back & fully functioning, again.

UPDATE:

I am running 2 computers off the same cable modem connection. My sons'
machine just got set-up with Outlook and they spend a lot of time on Youtube
and those type websites. An AVAST scan did turn up 2 trojans on their
machine.

Based on suggestions given to me regarding my Computer #1, I have also run
HiJack This on this machine (Computer #2). This is the logfile that I
received:
