outlook 2003 w/ BCM

Everything will be working fine and then all of a suddend
when trying to open either an account or a business
contact, I receive the following message: "The custom
form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook
form instead. The form required to view this message
cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator."

I have had to restore at least 4 times and after a few
days it does it again. Any ideas on how to fix without
having to restore the database?

i have had that problem in ol03, (i'm not using bcm). i deleted everything
in the documents&settings>'your name'>local settings>application
data>microsoft>forms folder. (you should see the frmcache.dat file and
several folders with names ending in 0. i deleted all of it. so the forms
folder was empty. ). then restarted ol03. been working fine for the last
several days.

sue mosher indicates that there may be problem in outlook and we are waiting
to hear from microsoft about it.

I've had that happen too. Try clearing the forms cache and then restarting - that has worked for me
