That's comcast having there head up there *&^%. I have had the same issue.
In let it go for a little while then it got annoying. I called knowing the
tech would also be a moron. I was told "It's microsoft's problem, when the
program checks mail it goes out to microsoft to get it". I just about hit
the roof being in the computer industry for over 15 years. I asked the lady
how long she has been in the industry and if she had any clue how email
works. She got upset connected me to the shift manager. When I told him what
she said. He was speachless.
His fix. LOL. Ready for this. Go back to port 25. LOL. He said port 587 was
for encripted mail. Man I almost fell off my seat. I just told him, "Yeah ok
it's encrypted great you guys are doing such a wonderful job keep it up" Man
where is my fios.
I went back to port 25 and have not had any real issues since.
