Does anyone know if the MSDN Universal subscribers will shipped a DVD with
(or be allowed to download for development purposes of course) a copy of
Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager? I spent several hours this
afternoon on the phone with both MSDN Customer Service and Tech Support
trying to find out why the October DVD set and the ISO image located on the
subscribers download area don't contain the Outlook 2003 with BCM software.
The only explanation I got was that it "may have been pulled" from the DVD
and ISO image at the last minute because it is not considered a "developer"
product. I was franklly quite surprised to hear this explanation since the
BCM is an add-in for Outlook 2003 developed using Visual Studio .NET and
runs on an MSDE database. I was also surprised since the BCM Beta 2 version
was available to MSDN subscribers until the RTM version came out.
