outlook 2003 wont load after upgrade from outlook xp(2002?)

I upgrade to the "new and improved" office 2003
profesional from Office Pro Xp. After the upgrade Outlook
2003 "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook" mesage comes
ALL the time I have run the installation with all the
options available repair, re-installed, bla bla. Without
any luck can anyone give me a clue? I am very close to
return the product and go back to XP. I am running WinXP
as my OS.

does the message say anything more than that?

did you try a new profile? control panel, mail - create a new profile, don't
copy your current one.
