Outlook 2003 wont't start after installing SP3

After installing Office 2003 Service Pack 3, Outlook won't start. The
only thing visible on screen is an error message stating (translated
out of dutch):

Can't start MIcrosoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.dll is damaged or the
version is wrong. The problem possibly originates by installing third
party e-mail software. Re- install Outlook.

Re installing Outlook doesn't cure the problem. And I also tried
running "Fixmapi", this tool also refuses to run. I hope somebody out
there can help me solving this problem.

Kind regards,

DJK

Rename the MAPI32.DLL to MAPI32.ICK found at \Program Files\Common
Files\System\MSMAPI\<LANGID>. Now go thru Add/Remove Programs in the
Control Panel and run a dectect/repair on Office/Outlook 2003.
