Outlook 2003 & Word email formatting

S

Sid Price

Hello,
I am struggling to understand how Outlook and Word 2003 work with the
"normal.dot" template. I use Word as my email editor and I have set up
normal.dot to give me the font, font size, font color, and paragraph spacing
that I would like in my emails. The settings for the paragraph spacing do
not at first appear to be correct. While composing the email there is 0pt
space after the paragraph, so that each paragraph appears on the first line
after the previous. Now, when the email is sent and opened for reading
(again with Word) the spacing is there!
This is frustrating because when the space does not appear correctly in the
composition of the email one tends to add a blank line to format the email.
Upon receipt this displays as a double spacing.
I would appreciate any comments or help that may lead to a resolution of
this strange effect,
Sid.
