Amazingly, I think that I can help you. I upgraded to Outlook 2003 from
an older version of Outlook and I continue to have no problems with
Intellisync for Yahoo.
THE PROBLEM
By default, Outlook 2003 uses a brand new Personal Folders File format
that is incompatible with Personal Folder Files format from Outlook 97,
2000, and XP. Intellisync for Yahoo is designed to work with this
older Personal Folder File format, not the new one.
THE WORK AROUND
You can create a new Personal Folder File compatible with Outlook 97,
2000, and XP. Read the notes below before you follow these steps:
1) Select "File" and choose "File Data Management"
2) Choose "Add"
3) Select "Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folder Files (.pst)" and press
"Ok"
4) The menu should now show two Personal Folder Files. Select the
older one and press "Remove"
5) Voila
Note:
-Because I haven't had this problem myself, I haven't bothered testing
this. Please let me know if it works fine.
-If you have any contacts, email, addresses, tasks, etc. in Outlook,
backup the information because you will lose that information after you
take the steps that I have provided. However, if all that information
is already stored on Yahoo, who cares because you are going to get it
back the first time you sync.
*FWIW, the MSN intellisync connector doesn't work with Ol2003 either.
I'm not
aware of a workaround.

I am trying to use the Yahoo Intellisync download to sync my Yahoo
Calendar/Address Book with Outlook 2003. When I try and do so it comes up
with an Application Error then bombs out. After that my Yahoo calendar is
then unavailable for a while.
It doesnt state that it IS compatible but does anyone know a workaround ?
Thanks in advance
