when I create aa email account in outlook, it will not stop importing emails
from my yahoo account. Same message over and over, like 10000 times. How do I
stop this from reciving old messages?

Mark outlook account properties to leave mail on the server. And ensure you
don't have any AV configured to scan incoming or outgoing email.
Additionally, ensure your send receive interval is at least 10 minutes.
