Outlook 2003

I have configured mine Outlook to send/receive messages from a Gmail account.
I'm able to send any mails but I'm not able to see the recived emails on
Outlook 2003... the only way I can see recived emails is on the gmail
website. We are using Windows XP and MS Office 2003.
More over I'm not getting any error message also. When i click on the test
settings after setting up the account it says setting is working
successfully. Could anyone help me to overcome this problem?

Did you follow the instructions from GMAIL to set up Outlook?

Did you switched on POP in GMAIL?
Did you run this file

If you read the messages at gmail, the gmail server will refuse to download
them when requested by a POP clients.
