outlook 2003

've confirmed that if I assign a task to someone, whether they accept or
decline, I never receive an email back indicating they have.

However, assuming they accept, when they mark it as complete, I do get an
email then.

Do you know why that is and can we change it? (get email notification on
accept/decline as well)


Is that base on the exchange server 2003 / or is it an new feature on
exchange server 2007
