Outlook 2007 a lot traffic

Hello @ll
We are using Outlook 2007 SP1 and Exchange 2007 SP1 over VPN. Calendar seems
to produce a lot of traffic, but the shared calender of other employees are
not activated. The traffic was nearly 50 MB in 1,5h , emails traffic was ca.
5 MB. Are so many sync. traffic in the calendar ? It seems that Outlook 2003
does not produce so many traffic.

Hard to say without any details. If you just implemented this, then it could
still be syncing if Cached Mode for additional folders is enabled. Also, it
depends on the usage of calendars and what is stored in the items (like
meeting notes). If you use certain shared calendars a lot, it would be wise
to sync them so only changes will have to be downloaded/uploaded later.
