Outlook 2007 academic vs. standard box?

Hi,

My company is upgrading some of our copies of Outlook 2003 to Outlook
2007. In tracking down the right product to buy, I was surprised at
all the variations of Office and Outlook. There appear to be four
versions of Outlook 2007 in a retail box: the academic and standard/
retail versions, each which come with or without Business Contact
Manager. Business Contact Manager is clearly marked on those
packages, but I don't see how to distinguish between the academic and
standard/retail versions based on the box. There doesn't seem to be a
clear "Home & Student" marking, etc. Yes, one way to tell is
generally by the price. :) But some retailers blur that line. I just
sent an email to one merchant to have them clarify what they're
selling, but for the long term, can someone tell me how the academic
box differs from the standard/retail box?

Thanks,

Todd

Company)

If a retailer blurs the line in the description of what the exact product
version is, then IMO avoid that retailer

I understand what you're saying, but lots of lower-priced dealers
(newegg.com, amazon.com, etc.) have moved away from providing their
own support. This isn't necessarily a reflection of their integrity,
just their business model. This particular dealer had a price that
made me look twice, and after scrutinizing the page, I did manage to
match one of their numbers to our existing copies of Outlook 2007:
NFA-00023. So I went ahead with the purchase. If I get burned, I'll
post a followup. :)

Thanks,

Todd
