Outlook 2007 - add pic to Contacts

When trying to add a picture to my Contacts, Outlook freezes.

Have sent error report to MS and run diagnostics but to no avail.

Any thing else that I can try?

I forgot to mention that the pic is on the Desktop. When I moved the pic to
the My Pictures folder, I could insert the pic into the Contact

Outlook doesn't like pics to be inserted from the Desktop ???
