I am using Outlook 2007. Today I have encountered a problem (or 2) using
Address Book.
I entered a new contact, but just put in a name and phone number. The
contact did not appear in my contact list. I searched for it, and got a ‘no
results’ message. But now I can’t get out of Search mode. When I open Address
Book (by using the icon, or by using the menu, or by using the key strokes)
Address Book opens to the Search box and I can’t access the Address Book.
The search function works. If I put in a contact name, it calls up the
contact info. But if I save and close, and open Address Book again, it opens
to the Search box. I can’t find a way to get Outlook to show me the address
book.
I’ve restarted the program. I’ve rebooted. No change.
So 2 problems, really. One is – how do I get out of the Search box and get
Address Book to open normally? And, once I get that working normally – how do
I access a contact I put in with just a name and phone number? If it won’t
appear in the Address Book, how can I edit it, or view it?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
